Through my ministry-business The Verity Initiative LLC, I offer three types of training opportunities:
- Online Course – If you have a specific problem, particular question or set of questions for which you want/need biblical answers, and you want, and perhaps need, help finding those answers and deciding what you think about that issue, then Biblical Breakthrough! (BB!) will help you find answers and peace in that area. This fully online course can be done in either 6 or 12 months, depending on your needs, current skill set, and the amount of time you have to put into the course. - Online Quarterly Training Telesummits – If you want to grow in your skill set for studying Scripture, but don’t have time, inclination, or opportunity, or the amount of money it takes to attend seminary or take seminary-level courses, then Your Biblical Breakthrough! (YBB!) Online Training Telesummits for Women will provide you with regular, but spread-out and extremely convenient and affordable opportunities to go deeper and broader in your Bible study skills. Each Telesummit features between 4 and 6 sessions focusing on a specific “Best Practice” in Bible study and interpretation, and all sessions are taught by highly qualified (and mostly female!) trainers, hosted by moi. These are excellent training opportunities and they’re also a lot of fun! Plus, you can attend in your jammies and curlers, because it’s all online. Woot! Can I get an “amen”? Bring on the nachos with extra beans – there’s no one to impress! These telesummits work really well in conjunction with the BB! online course, too, by helping you refine specific Bible study skills used during the BB! course. - Workshops and Retreats – If you want to bring me to your church, ministry, retreat, or Bible study group, it
would be my pleasure to create a tailored workshop or retreat experience – 1, 2, 3 or 5 day experiences – for your group to help women grow in their ability to sort through even their toughest life questions biblically and theologically. Please check my “Speaking” page and documents prior to contacting me; then use the “Contact Form” to inquire. If you’re concerned about this, we could still eat nachos with extra beans at your group’s event, even though it’s in real-time and there are obvious *risks.* I’m down with that. As long as your group also provides a case of Bean-O. It’ll be in the contract.
